LibOCon is the annual gathering of the LibreOffice community, now in its 7th year. At LibOCon, LibreOffice users gather to network and meet key LibreOffice developers, designers, localizers, documenters, supporters and marketers, and to learn about the latest in LibreOffice development.
LibOCon 2017 features: keynotes about best practices in large migrations to LibreOffice, business and technical presentations, technology previews, customer case studies, hands-on labs, tracks about localisation and certification, and the conference hack night.
Sponsors are invited to participate according to the package that best suits their needs. Pre-defined sponsorship packages create opportunities to present business or technical sessions during the "Migrating to LibreOffice" special track on Friday, October 13th, as well as other marketing activities. Several Italian organisations and public administrations planning to migrate to open source software and open standards will be invited to attend the "Migrating to LibreOffice" session.
TDF/LibreOffice organisation also welcomes other innovative suggestions and ideas from potential supporters.
Pre-Conference Promotion: supporters benefit from a number of promotional activities before LibOCon, including the logo and the company description on the website, a media announcement of the sponsorship, and a mention in each press release about LibOCon.
On-site Promotion: logo placement on conference and publicity materials, as well as other materials in the official LibOCon registration bag.
Migrating to LibreOffice Session Track: sponsors are given the opportunity to present a business or technical session, that will be included in a dedicated book (in English language) published on websites as well as disseminated at events worldwide. Preferred session language will be Italian.
Break and Lunch: logo and company name is shown around the serving and eating tables. There will be only one sponsor per meal/break time.
LibreOffice Welcome Cocktail: event to be defined, according to sponsorship
LibreOffice HackNight: LibreOffice Hacking event will be organised in any case, but location and catering may change according to sponsorship
LibreOffice 7th Anniversary: LibreOffice Anniversary event will be organised in any case, but the characteristics may vary according to sponsorship

IMPORTANT
LibOCon 2017 will be hosted inside historical buildings, the property of the City of Rome. House rules do not allow the use of banners and roll-ups inside the conference rooms, while they can be used in the area between the main conference rooms.
