Statistical modelling is used everywhere in bussiness: analysing and estimating missing data, risk management, optimizing a portfolio or prediction of future trends. LibreOffice Calc has some basic features that can support modelling, but lacks a user friendly and specialized interface, and the ability to cope with more complex problems. EuroOffice Modeller simplifies the task of modelling, and also incorporates the computing power of the scipy and numpy Python modules. The presentation will not only demonstrate the features of EuroOffice Modeller, but also elaborate the process of linking a complex python module to the PyUno interface.
